About the Role

Main Responsibilities

  • Continuous Integration and Deployment: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable software delivery.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Leverage the principles of infrastructure as code to automate and maintain our cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor system performance and take actions to ensure optimal availability and scalability.
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and QA, to foster a culture of collaboration and agility.
  • Automation Champion: Identify opportunities for automation across the development lifecycle and drive initiatives to streamline processes.
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Effectively identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring a smooth and efficient development experience.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing processes to boost productivity and software quality.
  • DevOps Culture Advocate: Promote DevOps principles and best practices across the organization, driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Technical Requirements:

  • CI/CD Experience: Demonstrable experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and methodologies.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
  • Scripting Skills: Ability to write scripts to automate tasks and processes.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system performance.
